About Laura
Laura's Bio
Laura was born in Sydney Australia to Kiwi parents. She moved to the USA with her family when she was seven and has lived
in North Carolina since. Her schooling consisted of public and public charter schools. Upon reaching college age, she obtained
a degree in New Media from UNC Asheville and fell in love with all things art + computers. Creative from a young age,
Laura grew up in various art classes. Her background in traditional media gives her an unique persepective in digital media.
Designing things that are both pretty and functional, and vision story telling are her creative passions.
When not messing around with the adobe suite and toonboom, she enjoys swimming, martial arts, stalking wildlife with her camera,
reading, geology(especially paleontology), and exploring nature with the dog. A self proclaimed nerd,
she adores sci fi and fantasy media in all its forms, and learning new coding languages and design techniques.
